Making my dramatic entry today, of all days!

By the way, currently I am reading Disclosure by Michael Crichton.
I never knew that the film was based on this book.
I usually am able to read up to 4 books at a time. So naturally my other reads now are :
Matilda by Roald Dahl and The French Connection.
The first story I heard from my Mom was that of the Happy Prince and the first
film my grandma took me to see was The Sound of Music! I am told I was just a
few months old when my parents went to see Born Free ( tagging me along ofcourse)
I also enjoy watching good movies....even if they are from the B&W era.
Celluloid mesmerizes me.... among others...say for example ...the paintings of Vermeer
You do see a trend here, right?
Have you noticed that the generation born after the mid-seventies are more
interested in things quick and short? Attention and Retention span is nothing to write home about?
I don't know why....may be they lack the depth to even be continously stay interested in anything at all?
anything substantial....that is...
